69th Annual Experience Gardner downtown celebration.  

Hours:

Fri. August 1st 9am to 7pm

Sat. August 2nd: 9am to 4pm

 

 

 

Downtown will be closed to traffic and will become one large mall!  The weekend will feature sidewalk sales from downtown merchants, food, entertainment, and hundreds of people from across central Massachusetts are expected to attend.

 

If you are interested in space, contact Square Two at (978) 632-5000 for information.   (Local vendors pay a small fee of $50.00)

 

Entertainment throughout the two-day celebration includes the Chair City Pipers, demonstrations from the Gardner Middle School Cheerleaders, Fliptastics Cheering, MWCC Fitness & Wellness Center, local restaurants offering outdoor dining, live bands...

 

New this year: Bouldering wall and other children's games offered by local Boy Scouts

• 9am-7pm - The Huge Chinese Auction at John's Sport Shop on Main Street

• 9am-4:30pm - used book sale at the library (2nd day of sale)

• 9am-3pm - MooMoo the cow from Davis Farmland at Hands on 4 Kidz on Main Street

• 9am-4pm - Blood Pressure Clinic - free by Wood's Ambulance on West Lynde Street

• 10am-6pm Kid Care ID Packages by Gardner Police and Explorers Post at Bank of America

• 10am-Polar Beverage Team with Free Drinks at Hans on 4 Kidz

• Noon-Free brewery tours at Gardner Ale House

• noon-1:30pm - Music by Fern and Rita in German Beer Garden at Gardner Ale House

• 1pm-2pm - Gardner Middle School Cheerleaders cheers and chants at Bank of America

• 2pm-4pm - music in the street in front of Bank of America

• 3:30pm - free brewery tours at Gardner Ale House

• 4pm-5pm Fliptastics All-Star Cheerleading performing routines, stunts and gymnastics, front of Bank of America

• 4pm-7pm - Tarot Cards and Numerology in bank parking lot

• 5pm-7pm - music in the street in front of Bank of America

Plus, all day long -   Moonwalk and children's games, Mini Putt Golf, Rain gutter regatta, Mini Pinewood Derby track, Bouldering wall (in Bank of America parking lot)   SNACK SHACK BY SQUARE TWO - with strawberry shortcae, hot dogs and popcorn, served up by local politicians in front of Priscilla Candy on Main Street.

 

Saturday August 2 9am-4pm
